Jemma Egan (2016) From Here to Eternity

A print expanding on the artist’s interest in consumer products representative of ideas of class, taste, value and labour.

A still from Egan’s film of the same name, From Here to Eternity is a C-type print of two steel hot dogs with oil turning on brass. Printed on metallic paper, the work is a continuation of the artist’s interest in objects, consumer products and cultural practices representative of our present moment; objects that are representative of class, taste, value and labour.
