Carciofi, Fave e Piselli
Lauren Godfrey (2018) Carciofi, Fave e Piselli
About the Artwork
Carciofi, Fave e Piselli (Jigsaw Edition) is an artwork the buyer is invited to construct themselves. Served in a pizza box and supplied with gloves, a cloth and various fixings, the work is deconstructed like an unmade jigsaw or a piece of flat pack furniture with instructions to guide you how to complete the puzzle.
The work stems from Godfrey’s ongoing series Ravioli Paving Slabs, illustrating the ingredients from a chosen pasta dish. Here you are given the recipe to make it yourself.
