BLOAT Collective (2017) BLOAT II

A publication documenting a process of material and environmental experimentation.

BLOAT II is a record of a self-led residency run by BLOAT Collective, set in both coastal and forest environments. Using an orange tarpaulin as their base medium, they explored the potential of the material, creating a dynamic between the environment and bloated form.

The publication was printed to accompany the collective’s exhibition, BLOAT II (2017).

BLOAT
BLOAT is an all-female collective, which explores what a bloated form constitutes. A collaborative practice whose shared purpose is to create and experience pinnacle moments of collaboration.
