Lilah Fowler Untitled (Silk Scarf)

A series of printed silk scarves, which take on spatial dimensions.

An interest in the design of urban and architectural space underpins Fowler’s questioning of the relationship between function, form and the art object; in this series of scarves, with images taken in the deserts of south-west USA printed on silk, sculpture, image and materiality take on a combined form and challenge us to reconsider how we interpret our surroundings.
